Man from Orissa arrested with 7.130 kg ganja

Surat, Mar 23: The police here have arrested a youth from Orissa for possessing 7.13 kg ganja.

Avinash Behra (32) was apprehended from Magdum Nagar road by the patrolling police on Wednesday night after they found the contraband, worth Rs 42,780, in his possession, police sources said.

Police said they have registered a case against Behra, a resident of Gajamati in Orissa under section 8 and 20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, sources said.
