Two killed as jeep turns turtle in Buldhana
Nagpur, Mar 22 (UNI) Two persons--a woman and an infant--were killed and eight others injured when the jeep they were travelling in, turned turtle in Buldhana district in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra today.
According to police, the accident occurred when the jeep went out of control on a curve in the road near village Atari, about 60 kms from Buldhana, this afternoon.
The occupants of the vehicle were on their way from Gundhar in Lonar tehsil to Shegaon in the district, police sources said.
Those killed were identified as Shobha Rambhau Kakde (40) and Om Tandankar (2). The injured have been admitted to a hospital in Khamgaon in the district, sources added.
