Sisley to make its debut in India at LFW

Mumbai, Mar 22 (UNI) Sisley, the popular Italian fashion brand known for its glamour collections, is all set to make its debut in India at the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) on March 27.

Sisley will take the runway for its Spring-Summer 2007 collection for men and women as part of the fashion extravaganza that is scheduled to be held at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) here from March 27 to 31, a release said.

Sisley, which entered India last year with two exclusive stores in New Delhi, has received great response from the country's fashionistas.

The brand's collection at LFW will be a sophisticated interpretation of the latest global trends with a wealth of inspiration and the moods reflected by the various themes for both men and women.

The collection offers a choice for every moment, be it casual, fun or that of cocktail party.

Speaking about the participation at the Lakme Fashion Week, Benetton India Private Limited Regional Director (Sales&Marketing), SAARC, SEA&Australia, Sanjeev Mohanty said ''India has huge potential as an emerging market. The Indian fashion scene has always been in tune with international styles and trends and the launch of Sisley in India will further maintain our position as a truly global brand.''
