NTPC-SAIL JV announces Rs 3 cr dividend

New Delhi, Mar 22 (UNI) NTPC-SAIL Power Company Pvt Limited (NSPCL), a 50:50 joint venture between Steel Authority of India Ltd and National Thermal Power Corporation, today declared an interim dividend of Rs three crore for its shareholders.

NSPCL Chairman R C Srivastava presented a cheque of Rs 1.5 crore to SAIL Chairman S K Roongta and its joint partners.

NSPCL, which manages the captive power plants at Rourkela, Durgapur and Bhilai with a combined capacity of 314 MW has been in profit ever since its formation in 2001.
