MP Speaker rejects notice against Minister

Bhopal, Mar 22 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Ishwardas Rohani has turned down a breach of privilege notice tabled by the main opposition Congress against Commerce and Industry Minister Babulal Gaur.

''It was tabled by Mr Satyadev Katare. A similar notice against Mr Katare, by Mr Lal Singh Arya (Bharatiya Janata Party) was also rejected'' Mr Rohani told UNI here today.

The notice against Mr Gaur was put forth on the ground that his comments, made during the debate on budgetary demands for his departments, lowered the dignity of women members of the House.
