JSEB alloted Rs 191 crores for RGRVY
Ranchi, Mar 22 (UNI) Jharkhand's Human Resources Minister and in-charge of power Bandhu Tirkey today said the Union government had allocated Rs 191 crores to the state electricity board for implementation of Rajeev Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojna in state.
Replying to a starred question of Amulya Sardar and Bhushan Tirkey (both from JMM), the HRD minister said the Damodar Valley Corporation had also received a sum of Rs 40 crores adding the electrification of the villges had to be done by 2009.
The Minister said that work allotment had been done in Gumla district after inviting tender.
