HP says to buy Web-based software developer Tabblo

NEW YORK, Mar 22 (Reuters) Computer maker Hewlett-Packard Co. said on Thursday that it has signed an agreement to acquire Tabblo Inc., a privately held developer of Web-based software, for an undisclosed sum.

Tabblo's technology helps consumers arrange and print text, graphics and photos from the Internet, HP said.

HP said the acquisition is expected to be completed within the next few weeks.
