Governor's visit to Tirumala
Tirupati, Mar 22 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Governor Rameshwar Thakur arrived here from Hyderabad today on a three-day visit to Tirupati and Tirumala to participate various programmes.
The Governor, accompanied by his wife Nirmala Thakur, left for Senior Padmavathi Guest House in Tirumala by road. They were welcomed by TTD Deputy Executive Officer (Reception-II) Srinivasulu.
After the night stay at Tirumala, the Governor would have darshan of Lord Venkateswara tomorrow morning and attend the meeting of Sri Venkateswara Vedic University High Powered Working Group.
On Mar 24, the Governor would participate in the morning rituals in Tirumala temple and offer prayers to Goddess Padmavathi temple in Tiruchanoor near here.
