CPI(M) MLA stages walk-out in MP Assy
Bhopal, Mar 22 (UNI) Lone CPI(M) member Ramlakhan Sharma today staged a walk-out in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly, alleging that the government was anti-farmer.
During the Question Hour, Mr Sharma alleged that Rewa-based J P Cement had violated lease of farmers and demanded an inquiry into the matter.
Commerce and Industries Minister Babulal Gaur described the allegations as untrue. He said no inquiry was needed as the cement industry was not committing any irregularity.
However, on Speaker Ishwardas Rohani's intervention, Mr Gaur said he would look into it on receiving a specific complaint.
Mr Sharma staged the walk-out alleging that the government was anti-farmer and hands-in-glove with the cement industry.
