Counting of votes delayed in MLC elections

Hyderabad, Mar 22 (UNI) The counting of votes polled in the Member of Legislative Council(MLC)from the Assembly was delayed as the election officials here sought the clearance from the Central Election Commission(CEC) following some technical problems.

The counting which was scheduled to start at 1700 hours could not begin as the officials were waiting for the clearance from the CEC on the controversial second vote cast by congress MLA Ch.Bapinidu.

The voting which began at 0800 hrs has completed at 1600 hrs.
