Central govt to provide Rs 170cr under NRHM
Mumbai, Mar 22 (UNI) The Central government is expected to provide Rs 170.70 crore to Maharashtra under the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM).
Tabling the Budget for 2007-08, state Finance Minister Jayant Patil said a provision of Rs 15 crore has been proposed for Jeevandai Arogya Yojana.
The Budget also has a provision of Rs 20.85 crore apart from Rs 11 crore for encouragement to eco tourism.
Mr Patil said assistance of Rs 105 crore was distributed for restoration of public amenities in 31 districts.
An outlay of Rs 121 crore in this year's Budget has been kept for Indira Vikas Yojana.
