Arms services team meets CM

Hyderabad, Mar 22 (UNI) A 15-member team of three Services and Civil Services led by Rear Admiral Vankat Sharma, VSM and Senior Directing Staff(Navy) from National Defence College, New Delhi which came to the city as part of its five-day economic, science and technology study tour, today called on Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy at the assembly chambers.

Welcoming the Defence officials, the Chief Minister narrated the various programmes taken up by the government, including massive irrigation programme to help the entire farming community.

He said IT and Industrial sectors were getting a big boost in the recent past in the State with many international companies coming forward to establish their BPO centres at Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam apart from several industries like Apache Foot wear and Apparel&Textile companies establishing their units at Nellore and other places.

Answering a question from a member about corruption'', the Chief Minister informed them it was by implementing Good Governance and improving the administrative systems, an official release said.
