VJF organised dharna

Visakhapatnam, Mar 21 (UNI) The Visakhapatnam Journalists Forum (VJF) today organised a dharna at the railway station to protest against the step-motherly attitude of the East Coast Railway authorities towards the greater Visakha city.

The forum members staged a dharna in front of the Bangalore Prasanthi Express. They demanded the withdrawal of all the trains extended to Bhubaneswar and also pressed for formation of a separate railway zone in Visakhapatnam.

Later, all the journalists went to the Divisional Railway office and submitted a memorandum to the Divisional Railway Manager demanding fair deal to the Vizag city.
