Tributes paid in MP Assy to former MLA

Bhopal, Mar 21: The Madhya Pradesh Assembly today made obituary references and paid tributes to former MLA Lokman Khatik.

As soon as proceedings got underway, Speaker Ishwardas Rohani informed the House of the leader's demise on March 13.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Narottam Mishra, Leader of the Opposition Jamuna Devi, and other MLAs paid tributes.

A brief silence was observed and proceedings adjourned for five minutes as a mark of respect.
