SSLC exam delayed due to mix-up in question paper

Kochi, Mar 21 (UNI) The SSLC examination in 25 schools in Kerala was delayed today following a mix-up in question paper packets, according to a Director of Public Instruction (DPI) official.

The History examination, based on old syllabus, was delayed by about an hour in 20 schools in Kothamangalam and five schools in Muvattupuzha educational districts as authorities opened a pack which contained question papers for chemistry examination scheduled for Friday eventhough the label on the pack mentioned the contents as History question papers, the official said.

On realising the mistake, the authorities sealed the packs and took immediate action to ensure smooth conduct of history examination.

The students were given extra time to complete the exam, the official said.
