Six wounded in Kashmir cloud burst

Srinagar, Mar 21 (UNI) Six people, including three women, were wounded and as many houses completely damaged in a cloud burst in Tral area of south Kashmir last night, police said today.

Police said they rescued about 150 villagers from Zadiyar Machama in Tral after the incident.

A police team received information regarding the cloud burst last night and soon after launched a rescue operation in the village. The rescued villagers have been shifted to a local school where they were being provided free food and medical aid.

Police said 20 more houses faced threat of damage in the village.
