School Principal convicted
Pune, Mar 21 (UNI) A local court has sentenced a school principal to a year's simple imprisonment for hitting a child, resulting in paralysis of his right arm and leg in 1996.
Judicial Magistrate Gauri Jadhav also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on principal Ujjawala Andrews.
The boy, Munir Patel, now a 27 year old man, works in fashion street as he could not complete his studies. His father works in a mutton shop in the Camp Area.
