One killed, two injured in road accident

Kolhapur, Mar 21 (UNI) An auto-rickshaw driver was killed and two others injured today when the vehicle turned turtle at city's Shahupuri area.

The deceased auto-rickshaw driver has been identified as Iqbal Shaukat Momin (42), resident of city's Jadhavwadi suburb, police said.

Momin was carrying vegetables in his autorickshaw from the market yard, accompanied by two passengers. While avoiding a pedestrian who was crossing the road, the auto-rickshaw turned turtle near the S T bus stand here.

The two injured have been hospitalised, police added.
