Newly-wed armyman, brother killed in road accident

Ambala, Mar 21 (UNI) A newly-wed Army Jawan and his brother were killed while his three friends were injured when their car met with an accident near village Tepla on Ambala-Jagadhri Road late last night, police said today.

The Jawan and others were on their way to Meerut Cantonment from their village Dina Sahib in Moga district of Punjab after solmnising his marriage during a 15-day leave.

The deceased Jawan and his brother were identified as Mangal Singh and Balwinder Singh while the injured included Kulbir, Dinesh and Amrit.

The three injured were admitted to a civil hospital in Ambala Cantonment where they are stated to be out of danger.

The dead bodies were handed over to the relatives of the deceased who had rushed here on getting the information, the police added.
