Ms Meera Gandhele, Dhanjay Munde (BJP) elected on Beed ZP

Beed, Maharashtra, Mar 21 (UNI) Ms Meeratai Gandhele and Mr Dhananjay Munde (both BJP) were today elected as President and Vice President of the Beed Zilla Parishad elections held today.

While Ms Meeratai was declared elected unopposed, Mr Munde defeated NCPs Sanjay Navle by 7 votes.

Mr Munde secured 33 votes as against Mr Navle's 26 at the ZP elections held here today.

The BJP is the single largest party in the Beed ZP having 23 members followed by Shiv Sena Three, NCP 19, NCP-supported Independents Two, BJP supported Vikas Aghadi Five and BJP supported Independents Three.
