Miscreants snatch gold from trader

Jamshedpur, Mar 21 (UNI) A group of miscreants today looted a bag, containing about one kg gold and worth an estimated Rs 12 lakhs, from a trader at Jugsalai area here.

Police said the trader was returning from Kolkata by the Howrah-Sambalpur Ispat Express and hired an autorickshaw. Four miscreants posing as co-passengers attacked the trader and snatched a bag from him after a scuffle.

The man raised an alarm and a constable,who was on duty,rushed to the spot but the miscreants managed to escape,police said adding another bag,which also had three kg gold, was recovered by the police.
