Mild quake rocks Srinagar, no damage reported

Srinagar, Mar 21 (UNI) A mild earthquake rocked Srinagar and its neighbouring areas last night.

Deputy Director meteorological department T N Jotshi told UNI that the 2.5 magnitude tremor, which were felt at 2028 hours last night, lasted a few seconds.

He said its epicenter was 12 km from here.

Police said there was no report of any damage to life and property in the quake.
