Kirloskar Bro commissions world's largest pumping system
New Delhi, Mar 21 (UNI) Kirloskar Brothers Ltd today said it has commissioned the world's largest pumping system on Saurashtra Branch Canal of Narmada Project.
This is a part of execution of order received from Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Ltd, a Gujarat government undertaking.
The project envisages irrigation of 5.4 lakh hectares of land of Saurashtra and drinking water to 4,620 towns and villages, a company statement said.
