IT sleuths raid two groups in Dyes and Chemical business

Ahmedabad, Mar 21 (UNI) Income Tax officials today initiated searches on business and residential premises of two city-based groups, engaged in dyes and chemicals business.

As many as 100 officers were involved in the searches in their residential and factory premises in Ahmedabad. One of the group is also engaged in the real estate business, Income Tax sources said.

A survey was on in full swing on a third group in the city, dealing with garments.

The searches, which started in the morning, were still continuing in the city as well as the groups' establishments in Mumbai and Jaipur, the sources added.
