Husband kills his wife

Madikeri, Mar 21 (UNI) A drunken brawl between couples led to killing of wife in an estate line house.

Chandra and Gange lived in line house of Subramanya plantation at Sunticoppa. They got into drunken brawl reportedly on the night of March 18. Chandra reportedly held her by the plate and bashed her face against the wall repeatedly. A bleeding Gange died on the spot.

Chandra fled the scene.

The murder came to light only yesterday. The Estate manager lodged a complaint with the Police.

Police are looking for the accused who is absconding.
