Hotel manager injured in daylight firing
Mumbai, Mar 21 (UNI) A 35-year-old hotel manager was injured when an unidentified assailant allegedly shot at him near IIT-Powai here today.
Police said the manager, identified as Satish Shetty, was attacked by the assailant at around 1120 hrs. The assailant later fled from the scene in a Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) undertaking's bus.
Mr Shetty was rushed to a nearby private hospital for treatment.
A case has been registered and investigations are on to ascertain the involvement of the underworld in a bid on Mr Shetty's life.
