Ex-PM Deve Gowda offers prayers at Varanasi temples

Varanasi, Mar 21 (UNI) Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda was in the temple city today to offer prayers at three prominent temples.

After offering prayers at the Goddess Vindhyavasini shrine in neighbouring Mirzapur district, Mr Gowda along with wife arrived by car here.

He later offered prayers at the world famous Kashi Vishwanath temple, blast-hit Sankatmochan temple and the Goddess Durga temple.

The family later returned to New Delhi.
