District Collector visits PHC

Kakinada, Mar 21 (UNI) East Godavari District Collector M Subramanyam has made a surprise visit to the 30 bedded Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Tallarevu here last night, along with district health and medical officer Jayaram.

He inspected all the ward rooms and collected information on number of patients. He also inquired with the inmates when they reached the hospital and about the treatment they were receiving.

Later, he verified the doctors's room and the list of registered in-patients and out-patients who were treated on Tuesday.

Speaking with the staff of PHC he said infrastructure of PHC would be strengthened. Doctors and other staff members should put efforts to stay near by the PHC itself and render good service to the patients.
