Community buildings in MP's tribal blocks

Bhopal, Mar 21 (UNI) Community buildings will be constructed in 89 tribal blocks of Madhya Pradesh, Tribal Welfare and Higher Education Minister Vijay Shah informed the Assembly today.

Replying to the debate on budgetary demands for his departments, Mr Shah said, ''Call centres will be set up for redressing tribals' grievances. More teachers will soon be appointed in ashram schools.

Highly-subsidised iodised salt will be granted to tribals. PhD students' allowances will be hiked to Rs 8,000 per month.'' Budgetary demands exceeding Rs 2,781 crore were later passed by voice vote.
