Centre should be informed of 'media syndicate': Chandy

Palakkad, Mar 21 (UNI) Opposition leader in the Kerala Assembly Oommen Chandy today said the state government should have first brought to the notice of the Centre the issue of ''media syndicate'' if such an outfit was working in the state.

No one could say that the media should always support the ruling, he told reporters here and added that the ruling as well as the opposition should not be averse to media.

''It is their duty to expose the wrong doings, be it the ruling or the opposition fronts, and no one should get infuriated'', he said.

Mr Chandy was here to pay his last respects to freedom fighter and former Congress MP A Sunna Sahib who died here yesterday.
