CBI probe against Mulayam a political conspiracy: Natwar

Jaipur, Mar 21 (UNI) Former External Affairs Minister and suspended Congress leader Natwar Singh today said the CBI probe into the disproportionate asset case against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav was part of a conspiracy to sully his image before the elections.

He said ''It is part of a deep rooted political conspiracy by the Congress to reap political mileage in the UP elections.'' But he warned that the conspiracy will boomerang.

Mr Singh who was here to attend a function, while challenging the Congress leadership to expel him from the party, said the road show of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in UP has turned out to be a 'flop show'.

He said he would campaign for the Samajwadi party from March 27 and would expose the Congress.

The former External Affairs Minister said he and his son were a victim of a deep rooted conspiracy hatched by some vested interest in the Congress.
