Abu Salem's production deferred to April 17

New Delhi, March 21 (UNI) A local court here today deferred the production of extradited underworld don Abu Salem before it to April 17.

Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Seema Maini ordered the Arthur Jail Superintendent to produce him on April 17 as he could not appear today. The police failed to produce him after a Mumbai court extended the stay on his production before the Delhi court.

Abu Salem is facing charges in a slew of cases, including extortion and kidnapping, among others.
