Watery grave for three devouts

Mysore, Mar 20 (UNI) A holy dip at Triveni Sangama near T Narsipura in the district on the occasion of Ugadi festival yesterday turned out to be tragic for three persons, as they drowned in river Cauvery.

Police said the trio had visited the temple on the banks of the river, before meeting with a watery grave.

The victims were identified as S Umesh (34) of Arasikere, Nagaraju (24) and Siddaraju (20), both from Hunganahalli.

The bodies were fished out and handed over to their family members after post-mortem.
