Two persons charred to death in fire

Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, Mar 20 (UNI) Two persons were charred to death and six others received simple injuries in a fire that broke out at a cracker manufacturing unit in the outskirts of Gundur town here today.

Police said a fire broke out in a cracker manufacturing unit, which was operating illegally. In a huge explosion in the building, two persons died on the spot and six others were injured. They were taken to a private hospital.

The building collapsed. Police have launched a hunt to nab the owners of the building and manufacturing unit.
