Tripp Lite enters Indian market

Bangalore, Mar 20 (UNI) The US-based Tripp Lite, one of the leading manufacturers of power protection equipment, today announced its foray into India through Rajdeep Energies Private Limited, a renowned provider of energy products in the country.

Speaking to newspersons here, Mr Vipin Sharma, Vice-President, Tripp Lite's East Europe, Middle East, Africa and India operations, said Tripp Lite was looking to penetrate the growing Indian market in a big way. In its first phase of expansion in India, Tripp Lite would introduce its award winning line of power protection products that included an ultra compact inverter and a series of UPS, which had a combined market potential of over Rs 3,000 crore.

He said Rajdeep Energies would serve as Tripp Lite's sole Indian distributor and carry its 1,000 plus product offerings of UPS systms, line conditioners, surge suppressors and other power protection, supply and connectivity solutions.

Mr Sharma said Tripp Lite would like to expand its operations in the SAARC region and India would serve as its hub for the activities. Tripp Lite aimed at penetrating a minimum ten per cent of the growing Indian market in selling power protection products.

He said that with India emerging as the outsourcing Mecca of the world with flourishing Small and Medium Enterprises, manufacturing industries, retail and BPO sector, it had created a market platform to select best products and Tripp Lite had positioned itself top among other players in the market oferring best quality products.
