Speaker orders enquiry into rebel TRS MLAs 'rule violation'

Hyderabad, Mar 20 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker K R Suresh Reddy today said he had ordered the officials concerned to enqire into the violation of rules by nine rebel Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLAs, who fielded a candidate for the Council election from MLAs constitutency.

Speaking to newspersons here, Mr Reddy said he would take action on the rebel MLAs after receiving a comprehensive enquiry report. The enquiry was ordered in response to the TRS petition seeking disqualification of nine rebel MLAs for supporting an independent candidate in the election.

The rebel TRS MLAs have fielded former TDP leader and President of Mahajana Party K Gnaneshwar in the elections.
