Ramu Suganthan joins Congress

Chennai, Mar 20 (UNI) Ramu Suganthan, son of late Congress leader and former Union Petroleum Minister 'Vazhapadi' K Ramamurthy, today joined the Congress in the presence of party President Sonia Gandhi.

Mr Suganthan, accompanied by his supporters including former MP Kaliyaperumal, joined the Congress at the Parliament complex in New Delhi, a release from his office said.

He had quit the post of BJP national youth wing secretary last month.
