Rail traffic disrupted

Bhopal, Mar 20 (UNI) Traffic on Bhopal Itarsi section of the West Central Railway was disrupted as a goods train came to halt on the downtrack after the brakes of a few bogies got jammed.

Road traffic between Budhni and Hoshangabad also came to a standstill, as the goods train was stranded at the level crossing at Budhni this afternoon, railway sources said, adding that several vehicles were stranded.

Among the affected trains, the Khushinagar Express was halted at Itarsi.

The sources added that restoration work was in progress.
