Pak panel postpones hearing on suspended judge

Islamabad, Mar 20: Pakistan's top judicial watchdog, which is hearing accusations against the country's suspended top judge, has postponed its next hearing in the case from tomorrow to April 3, a Supreme Court official today said.

Lawyers, outraged about the government's March 9 suspension of Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry, and an opposition alliance of religious parties, had earlier called for protests outside the Supreme Court tomorrow.
