Nestle India Q4 PAT drops 15 pc

New Delhi, Mar 20 (UNI) Nestle India today registered a 15.7 per cent drop in its net profit at Rs 62.46 crore for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 74.16 crore for the corresponding period last year.

The company's total income rose 18 per cent to Rs 743.59 crore for the said period as against Rs 628.54 crore during the same period last year.

For the year ended December 31, 2006, the company posted a net profit of Rs 315 crore for the year ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 309.57 crore during the same period last year.

Its total income has increased to Rs 2,836.67 crore during the said period from Rs 2,500.64 crore for the year ended December 31, 2005.
