Mizoram police recovered three dead bodies

Aizawl, March 20: Mizoram police today recovered a highly decomposed body from the bushes along Agriculture Link Road under Kolashib district near Asom border.

Police said the body was believed to be of a non-Mizo gril, murdered at least a fortnight ago, evident from pieces of a saree found on the spot.

"The body can't be identified because it is highly decomposed," police said.

The body has been sent to district hospital for post-mortem and further investigation, while Mizoram police informed the matter to it's Asom counterpart.

In another incident, Aizawl city police recovered two bodies from different areas of the town this morning.

While Lalfakawmi (30), a primary teacher, committed suicide in the sitting room at Vaivakawn area, another Mary Zodinpuii (30), wife of a police sub-inspector, was found hanging from the bedroom.
