HNLC militant gave up arms in Shillong

Shillong, Mar 20: A senior militant cadre of proscribed Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council Pynskhemlang Thongni alias Mike has surrendred before the police here on Saturday.

The militant also deposited a revolver and 11 rounds of 9 mm live ammunition, police said here today.

Meanwhile, police are interrogating the militant.
