Hearing begins in Papiya murder case

Patna, Mar 20 (UNI) Hearing in Papiya Ghosh and Malti Devi murder case began in a fast track court here today.

During the day, two prosecution witnesses in the case deposed before fast track court judge of Patna Om Prakash.

Nitya Aditya, a neighbour of the deceased professor, and Ram Prasad, a painter, were among the two witnesses.

The matter would be heard tomorrow.

A professor of Patna University Papiya Ghosh and her maid servant Malti Devi were killed by miscreants during dacoity on December 2 last year.

Altogether five people were facing the trial.
