66 houses gutted in devastating fire

Itanagar, Mar 20 (UNI) In a devastating fire, 66 houses and three granaries, were reduced to ashes in Sibuk Adi-Pasi village under Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh yesterday.

Local MLA J K Panggeng, who received telephonic message about the tragedy, told UNI that massive losses were caused to the poor villagers though no casualty was reported.

Assuring that he would apprise Chief Minister Gegong Apang on the calamity and seek relief from him, Mr Panggeng said he would leave for his area on March 21.
