MP: 10 yrs' RI for smuggling heroin

Ratlam (MP), Mar 20: A local court today sentenced a person to 10 years' rigorous imprisonment on the charge of smuggling heroin and fined him Rs one lakh.

According to prosecution, Rajasthan's Jhalawad-resident Ramesh Chandra was arrested while conveying 1.5 kg heroin in 2006.

Special Judge Abhay Kumar delivered the verdict yesterday.
