Unidentified persons robs Jain temple in Kheda

Nadiad, Mar 19 (UNI) Unidentified persons decamped with booty worth Rs 41,500 from a Jain temple in Balasinhor taluka in Kheda district, 45 kms from here.

Last night, theives made away with two 200 gm panchloha idols, a Mahavir idol made of panchloha weighing 1.5 kg, a mukut and some cash, all totalling worth Rs 41,500, police said.

The trustee of the temple Jagdish Manilal Shah has filed a complaint at Balasinhor police station.

A case under IPC 457 and 380 has been registered.
