Treasury Emp Association warn of indefinite strike from Mar 26

Kanpur, Mar 19 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Treasury Employees Association today threatened an indefinite state-wide strike from March 26.

Association Naeemuddin Siddiqui said here today, despite a high court order, the state government had failed to clear dues pertaining to the period between 1986 and September 2005.

Besides, he alleged the state government lacked a clear policy on promotions since the last 15 yrs, which had created discontentment among the employees.

He warned if UP failed to resolve such issues by March 22, the employees would proceed on indefinite strike from March 26.
