Summer knocks at Rajasthan
Jaipur, Mar 19 (UNI) With temperatures rising, Rajasthan seems to be heralding summer time in the state.
According to weather office, the temperatures will rise further in the days ahead with the minimum temperature already touching 24 degree Celsius in Sawai Madhopur.
Many places in the state recorded minimum temperatures above 20 degree Celsius, making fans whir and woollens back in the closets.
The weather office recorded 23.8 degree Celsius in Rawatbhata, 22.8 in Bundi, 22.5 in Kota and Jodhpur, 22.2 in Bikaner, 22 in Barmer, 20.5 in Churu, 21.1 in Ajmer, 20.2 in Jaisalmer, 19.9 in Jhalawar, Jaipur 19, Bharatpur 18.7, Ganganagar 18.2, Dabok 17.4, Udaipur 16.8, Pilani 16 degree Celsius.
Although the temperatures are rising, the weather office has predicted rains in many places with thunderstorms due to western disturbance.
