Rain likely to occur in Uttaranchal

Pune, Mar 19 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir, and at isolated places in Uttaranchal and Himachal Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Orissa, Haryana, Punjab, west Rajasthan, Kerala and Andman and Nicobar Islands.

Dry weather will prevail over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujrat Region and in parts of Himachal Pradesh. They were above normal in Manipur, east Madhya Pradesh, north Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

The temperatures were appreciably below normal in Bihar and east Uttar Pradesh. They were below normal in Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Haryana and Punjab.

The temperatures were normal over the rest of the country.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Tripura and Gangetic West Bengal.

They were below normal in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Jharkhand, east Uttar Pradesh, south Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and interior Karnataka.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh, Gujrat Region, north Konkan and in some parts of Haryana.

The temperatures were above normal in Uttaranchal, Punjab, south Rajasthan, north Chhattisgarh, Saurashtra, Kutch, Madhya Maharashtra, south Konkan and Goa. They were normal over the rest of the country Dry weather prevailed over the country.
