One killed in grenade blast in Asom
Guwahati, Mar 19 (UNI) At least one person was killed and three were injured in a grenade explosion by suspected ULFA militants near Nalbari in Lower Assam today.
Police said suspected militants hurled a grenade at Gopal Bazar area near Nalbari town in the evening, killing one person and injuring three.
Details of the incident were being awaited.
A posse of police force and paramilitary force personnel rushed to the spot immediately after the incident.
Meanwhile, the Army nabbed two hardcore ULFA militants from Kokrajhar in Western Assam and recovered a Japan-made revolver from them.
